This strategy allows students to spot patterns, avoid repeats, and find the solution in an organized way. Make A Table is another common heuristic strategy, very similar to Make A List, whereby the given information is organized into rows and columns for easy comparison. This helps students test different values, track results, and match data to solve problems.

It is recommended that students spend 30 minutes each time working on 1 to 2 word problems in this workbook over 2 weeks.
